Every issue of The Polished Palate ends the same way: pour something, run the experiment, notice what your palate actually does. You, the glass, and a question.
In October, we do it together for the first time.
The first live Polished Palate tasting. A designed flight you shop for from a published list, everyone tasting the same wines at the same time, and real-time discussion. You taste, you name what is in your glass out loud, and you check what reaches your palate against what reaches everyone else’s. I walk you through all of it, the same way the Saturday experiments do, except this time you can ask questions and hear how other palates read the same bottle.
Here is what I can tell you now:
- When: one evening in October. The exact date lands in your inbox in September.
- The flight: published ahead of time, with budget alternates, so you can taste along with the actual bottles.
- Seats: limited, and the people on this list hear everything first.
Want a seat at the first one? Two things:
- Make sure you are subscribed. Every detail arrives by email first.
- Leave a comment on this post with one word: IN. That is the list I look at first when doors open.
More in September.
